Chaplin's The Music Cafe, 66 N. Main St., Spring City, PA

This will be a special night for me opening for my good friends Dave Weber, Gary McCarren, and John Hynes. All members of the RD1 Band from the Cape May, NJ area. I spent way too much time at Henry's in Wildwood, NJ and later around the Langhorne, Pa area playing gigs with these guys though out the 1980's and early 90's. All great song writers, this will be a night when we'll all show case our writing skills and original creations, both separately, and I'm sure together on more than a few tunes this night. You will not be disappointed! You can follow this link to Chaplin's web site...

O & J Roberts Middle School, Rt 23, Pottstown, PA

NEW! An Appreciation of the Movies

Ted The Fiddler, instructor

With all the wiz-bang computer graphics and surround sound nowadays, we tend to forget that the movies started out with just a camera and an idea. Join Ted The Fiddler, local entertainer, film collector, as we look at several aspects of the movies and how we got to where we are today. Since every show should start with a cartoon, we'll start off with a short history of theatrical animation. Then we'll take a look at the art of silent film, followed by the Short Subject and finish off with a night at the movies in the prime of the studio system with a feature film.
