Down Home, At Home Jam In 1995 my wife went to California for a week. I decided to turn the house into a recording studio. This is what came out. We all sat around and drank NA beer (well, I drank NA beer... note the photos around my web site), ate pizza and played music for two nights. We recorded live with no rehearsals straight to two track digital tape (DAT) in my dinning room . The engineer sat on the third floor, and could only be reached by telephone. If you listen real close, you can hear cars & trucks going by on main street! There are no overdubs or special effects, just a little reverb, and some analog compression. If you get the volume just right, it should sound like we're right there in person. It's all here, flubs and all. So, relax, put your feet up, grab a cold one, and welcome to Ted The Fiddler's Down Home At Home Jam. Songs on the album include 3 originals, and 9 more you may or may not have heard.... 6 are fiddle tunes.
